Graphene can be freely suspended or adhered to a substrate using a SpeedMixer^®. The weight reduction in most applications can be achieved due to the fact that dimensionally it is achievable in nano layers to macro size. SpeedMixer^® is an extremely useful tool to mix, homogenise and degas polymers which could be a substrate, for a mono layer or even multiple layers of graphene. The blending of graphene oxides for example into inks requires the ability to prepare or disperse very small amounts into a polymer, the SpeedMixer^® achieves this totally non‑invasively mitigating any exposure to very fine particulates.
